Ed passed on Father’s day, an appropriate day since he was like a father to Plantation Acres. He served on the boards of PAID and PAHA; As President he took many stands to protect our piece of Plantation. Ed will be dearly missed.

June 07 - Broward School Board member Dr. Jeff Holness will speak at the City Council meeting. ~ June 08 - Broward County Commissioner Steve Geller will host a Town Hall meeting at 6:30 pm at City Hall. ~ June 21 - Dr. Valerie Wanza, Broward County Public Schools Chief of Staff is booked to appear at the City Council meeting. ~ June 21 - There will be a presentation on PREMO, the County’s proposed mass transit plan during the City Council meeting.

During their April 26 meeting the City Council approved a site plan and conditional use for North Acres Park. They also approved an agreement for the supply and delivery of traffic calming devices planned for 118th Avenue. Thank you council and Samira Shalan, Engineering Director!
